This setting fits a round stone from 7.0mm - 7.3mm with about 7mm being ideal. Even though 7.3mm can fit, it is an aggressive fit and not all setters are able to setting a stone like this as it would require carefully removing some metal around the bezel. This piece is very special because each sapphire was custom cut one at a time to fit in the channel with zero gaps. This is a very labor intensive job which is reflected in the beauty and rarity of the piece. The sapphires are very high quality and have a vibrant color. The ring also has six sparkling diamonds with three to each sides of the ring that are all bright white and 100% clean to the naked eye with no visible imperfections. The ring is made from solid 14 karat white gold and has gorgeous details throughout. The ring measures 12mm across (north-south) and 4.7mm from the finger to the top of the ring.
